Few if any slot canyons in the world can come close to rivaling the awe-inspiring curves and undulations of the sandstone slot canyons near Page, Arizona.

The Antelope Canyon is a slot canyon in the American state of Arizona. It's near the town of Page and is located within the Navajo Nation.

The canyon is divided into two distinct sections, Upper Antelope Canyon and Lower Antelope Canyon. Upper Antelope Canyon is the more famous and most visited of the two canyons. The area is known for its many miles of twisting, narrow canyons that descend up to 305 meters below the desert surface.

On the surface itself, you hardly have a clue of the beauty that thousands of years have worn away beneath your feet.

Here's a short video I made to give you a chance to see them for yourself.

Slot canyons are formed by the erosive action of water flowing through the rock over a long period of time. Antelope Canyon was formed by the erosion of Navajo sandstone, a Permo-Triassic sandstone found in the United States.

The canyon walls are composed of a series of fins, which were created by what we call differential weathering. In a way, you could call it another version of the sands of time. Thousands and thousands of years.

I've shot this magical place two or three times in my career. It is awe-inspiring every time. Fine Art Photography is not an exact science. We, as landscape photographers, are trying to capture a moment in time that won't ever happen the same way again. I hope, I have succeeded in that.

This shot, Glimpses of Heaven is without a doubt a moment in time I've captured that I'm incredibly proud of. There are still available prints in this limited edition run. It is, one of the most magical moments I've ever captured though, hence, why this is such a limited release.

Antelope Canyon Limited Edition Print

If you're one of the lucky ones to hang this on your wall, you'll have a moment in time that won't ever happen again the same way, encapsulated in acrylic. And I really hope you enjoy every second you stare at it.

I'm a photographer, I capture what Mother Nature has created, and I hope, I really hope, I give others in the world a chance to see through my eyes the moments I've captured.
